It’s our blogiversary! In many ways, it feels like just yesterday we were writing posts 1, 2, and (whomp whomp, we missed celebrating our 3rd year), but then again it also feels like it’s been a million years. We’ve actually also spent this entire year apart (a first in our friendship) which had been super hard and means we have mostly communicated on zoom and through our many it’s a thing posts.
Our boys have grown into loud and busy toddlers, Ernie turned 2 a couple of months ago and Colby’s 2nd birthday will be here before we know it. Laura started a new job and we’ve both been tackling the crazy 2021 world of working and parenting in a way we never could have imagined when our sons were born.
Laura has been running and making plans for a big home renovation. Stella’s been cooking a lot and enjoying the small-town life. We’re both looking forward to the world getting a little bit back to normal (dare to dream?). And we finally have plans to see each other in real life in a few weeks as Stella makes her way back to LA for a few work events this fall.
We’re looking forward to seeing each other and giving a big cheers to 4 years of blogging. Thank you for reading along as we figure out … Are We Adults Yet??
