  1. I moved into a new office this week, it’s across the street from my old building and I am still with the same team/company, just a new spot to go each day. I loved decluttering after 6 years in the old office. I also now have a standing desk and a big beautiful window to look out of each day.

My new view from my desk!
  2. I am one week into the third trimester of pregnancy now. The second trimester flew by and I am excited to start this final stretch before the big day (our little munchkin is due in early November). I’ve been researching a lot about traveling with an infant and specifically, I want to pick out a stroller and car seat that are both easy to travel with. These are my top picks so far: compact stroller + small car seat. They are both are very small and lightweight and they are compatible with each other to be used as a travel system. I love that the car seat can be used without a base and that the stroller is small enough for an overhead airplane bin!
  3. I love this silly way of earning gift cards, it only takes a minute or so each day and you can get points to redeem for gift cards just for searching on Bing. Earn even more if you use Bing as your default search engine.
  4. This week I’ve been enjoying the Big Fat Pregnancy Podcast. The hosts both live in LA and have babies that are 4 weeks apart. I’ve greatly enjoyed hearing about their journeys and feel like I am learning some great tips along the way!

  1. My husband recently added two new cookbooks to our collection: ‘Slow Cooker Revolution‘ and ‘The Make-Ahead Cook‘. With his being back at work, dinner has gotten a bit harder to plan and coordinate with our new nightly routine. Hoping these inspire some better meal planning in our (near!) future!2019-08-27 15.10.19
  2. I like reading lots that The Points Guy has to offer as far as travel, deals, and getting the most bang for your buck. But I also love that he has two young kids as travel really takes on a whole new meaning when you’re in charge of other tiny humans during it! This article on the back row of Southwest had some great insights I hadn’t thought of before.
  3. Ernie and I have been fairly lucky so far in our breastfeeding journey, but I have already hit upon a few struggles I know lots of other moms out there can empathize with. I thought this was a great read on breastfeeding specifically in the United States.
  4. I have a few friends who have used various WeWork offices and I’ve always thought it is simultaneously a gold mine of an idea… but also a bit weird and cult-y. The Verge did a great job of delving into that cult factor in its article on WeWork’s upcoming IPO.
