10 Things To Do During Your Last Month of Pregnancy

You may have noticed given our many pregnancy posts lately that we’ve got babies on the brain. Stella’s in the home stretch of her pregnancy and Laura is coming up on Ernie’s first half birthday! We’ve been busy getting ready for the new arrival and decided to write a post of all the things we’ve found helpful in the final stretch.

  1. Practice Self-Care – get a haircut and a pedicure, who knows when you’ll be able to do it once baby arrives!
  2. Install Your Car Seat – pro-tip: you can go to your local fire department or police station for a quick how-to and also get safety tips. Definitely try to time this one right, closer to your due date is better — too early and you’ll be nervous about getting in a car accident and having to replace the base and/or seat!
  3. Request a Handicap Placard – did you know you can do this?! Those last weeks of pregnancy are hard on your body, so give yourself a break and park closer to things.
  4. Clear Out Your Phone Storage – you’ll be wanting to take lots of photos of your little one once they arrive and might need the space!
  5. Unsubscribe From Junk Email – it will be hard enough to find time to look at the real ones let alone sort through junk mail.
  6. Use Your registry completion discounts to buy last-minute items that you need. Check out our post about how to utilize the Amazon Completion Discount for tips and tricks to maximize 🙂
  7. Pack Your Hospital Bag – here’s our list of a few unusual items that you may have forgotten!
  8. Do Research & Go To Classes – we recommend these books to check out: Expecting Better, Pregnancy, Childbirth, and the Newborn: The Complete Guide, Birth: The Surprising History of How We Are Born, and Bringing Up Bébé.
  9. Eat dates – there are a ton of health benefits, we recommend trying them in Stella’s smoothie recipe!
  10. Use a yoga ball and do lots of squats! This will help get you in shape to deliver.
