  1. I am obsessed with TOMs shoes. They are my favorite slip-ons and I am constantly wearing through them because I wear them so often. I’ve started buying them via eBay to save a little money. Today, eBay is has a deal for 15% off purchases of $50+ and you can get additional cash back while shopping with Ebatestoms.JPG
  2. Time Out is bringing back their Tastemaker (influencer) program in Los Angeles. In exchange for being active on their site (writing reviews) you get entered to win perks. I’ve won $50+ gift cards to restaurants, tickets to local food events and a $500 gift card to Airbnb! You can join the program in other cities too, they have big groups in New York, London and Chicago.
  3. Laura mentioned this a few weeks ago, but I finally tuned in and want to be sure you are all listening to theSkimm’s new podcast, it is fantastic!
  4. Just over a month until my big trip to Africa! I am in details mode and falling down the rabbit hole of what do I wear?! I am in love with The World Pursuit blog and love Natasha’s post “The Girls Packing List for Africa” and Cameron’s post “Ultimate Safari Clothes Guide: What To Wear On Safari In Africa” – both posts are full of useful details and tips! After spending a ton of time researching, I ordered a few things from Backcoutry (shorts, pants, long-sleeve shirt), if you are planning a Safari trip, use my referral link for $10 off your first order (ps – I’ll get $10 too!).

  1. Gimlet has two new shows out, both of which I’ve binged all of in the last week: Sandra and The Habitat. I am definitely in need of more podcast-listening hours in each and every day!
  2. Jacob and I are camping this weekend in service of hopefully seeing the InSight Mission to Mars launch. We have these sleeping bags to break in and it’s the first time our pup has ever been camping so I’m pretty pumped!
  3. I’ve been really loving Desirae of Half Banked’s recent articles, especially this one on sticking to a wedding budget and this one comparing tracking calories with tracking finances.
  4. I’ve had George Ezra’s “Paradise” on repeat all week. I definitely get in some music ruts and/or obsessions and that is the current one!

Let us know what you think!
