  1. Very excited that Veronica Mars is back! Laura and I both watched the show when it first came out and were lucky enough to work the movie premiere a few years ago!

  2. My husband and I have been apartment hunting. We’ve lived in the same place for almost 8 years and are really looking for a change. We have a huge list of requests (in unit laundry, a second bedroom, central air… the list goes on). I’ve been spending a lot of time researching places to move but also trying to keep myself informed about laws regarding moving out of our current place, getting our security deposit back (plus interest?!) and what really is “wear and tear“?
  3. In addition to moving in my personal life, we are also preparing to change offices in a few months. I’ve been spending lots of time shredding and creating digital copies to be stored on an external hard drive.
  4. I had a big event last weekend and spent about 14 hours on my feet. I am a huge fan of Tom’s and wore them for the whole day without issue. I also choose to wear these leggings pants which are by far the most comfortable pants I own.

  1. I’m officially on maternity leave as of yesterday! The last few months at work have been quite hectic and stressful so I’m really looking forward to some downtime before Baby Beep is born. My due date is 4 weeks away, so hoping to get lots of naps in!2019-04-09 19.10.14
  2. We still have a fair number of things to get done on the baby to do list, one of which is start researching childcare options. It feels early as both my husband and I are taking a few months off of work, but things book up so quickly that we should be getting a move on with it. I really loved Startup Pregnant’s podcast episode on ‘How to Hire A Nanny,’ an option we’re considering. There are so many aspects of employing a nanny that hadn’t occurred to me, and it was a great listen to start the process!
  3. There are a bunch of things we buy in bulk off Amazon, which means they’re not regular purchases, but somehow over the last week three different purchases all hit at once: trash bags, peppercorns, and dog poop bags. Coupled with my subscribe & save order of prenatal vitamins (TIL, you keep taking prenatals throughout breastfeeding! Subscribe & save will definitely be worth it for having to take these daily for more than a year!), and my Amazon card is really getting a workout.
  4. I’ve started stocking my closet with nursing-friendly attire that is summer appropriate. So far I have a few dresses [1], [2], and tops [1], [2] but will definitely need to see what works best and is most comfortable to have enough to wear in those postpartum days!
