We’ve been so impressed with Netflix’s original content lately, they put out so many creative shows and movies and seem to be adding to the list every day.
These are our top picks for movies to watch with your girlfriends. Bring on the popcorn!
When We First Met
This silly romantic comedy is the perfect light movie for date night. It stars Adam Devine (Pitch Perfect) and a slew of other wonderful actors that will have you rooting for them throughout.
To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before
Ok, we’re with you, this one looks a bit hokey and sure it’s based on a teen novel, but it’s cute and fun and we think it’s worth a watch! It’d be the perfect movie for a ladies night or a “my husband’s busy and I’m home making a frozen pizza and drinking wine” night alone 🙂
Dumplin’
Call us crazy, but we’ll watch anything with Jennifer Aniston in it. And Dumplin’ certainly didn’t disappoint, it’s unlike any role you’ve ever seen her in and we loved it.
Set It Up
This one is particularly great if you’ve ever been (or currently are) an assistant. There is a lot to relate to and it’s a perfect light & fun movie to watch with your friends.
Sierra Burgess Is a Loser
This story of an underdog in high school finding her way is certain to put a smile on anyone’s face. It’s a heartwarming story and a perfect lighthearted film to watch with your girlfriends.

My daughter and I thought Dumplin’ was really cute. I’ve been hesitant on To All the Boy’s I’ve Loved… we’ll see if I change my mind. I recently watched Brene Brown’s Call to Courage special. That is great for a girl’s night!
