  1. I’ve had a lot of really big work events this week including a visit from Former First Lady Michelle Obama and a trip up to Lake Arrowhead to take donors to the UCLA Lake Arrowhead Conference Center.

  2. My sister just booked tickets to come to LA for Thanksgiving, I know it’s far away but I can’t wait for her to be here. Her boyfriend will be coming too and he’s never celebrated Thanksgiving in the US before, I am very excited to show him all of our crazy eating traditions (and hopefully some healthy stuff too!). We spent Thanksgiving with them a few years ago in Italy and I’m excited to be the ones hosting this year.
  3. Just started a new podcast this week that I love. It’s about a girl who disappeared just a few blocks from my apartment so it’s hitting close to home. Add this to the list of reasons that I am glad to be moving!
  4. I really enjoyed this video about how Emirates Airlines prepares food for 110 million in-flight meals per year and tailors them to the cuisine of the destination country. It is a very impressive operation.

  1. Freezer meal prep has been a huge part of my last few weeks of pregnancy! I feel like I’ve cooked enough for a small army, but also simultaneously feel like I could always make more! Quintessential to all the prep has been the right storage-ware: I loaded up on these Ziploc containers, these takeout containers for making/freezing large batches of rice, and lots of gallon bags for slow-cooker ingredients!

  2. I have been all about hearing different birth stories and pregnancy journeys while being pregnant, myself. I so appreciate Angela Garbes’ take on it inĀ Like a Mother where she dispels some myths, talks about pregnancy in the modern era and how to sidestep the inevitable judgment you’ll feel from every angle.
  3. The Bad with Money podcast is back with season 4! I’m a big fan of Gaby’s show and super psyched that it has returned with another season. (Also, her book is still on my to-read list.)
  4. I feel very behind the times on this, but I finally watched ‘Bohemian Rhapsody‘ recently and adored it! I have loved Rami Malek in Mr. Robot and think he gave a stellar performance in this as well. Even more impressive was finding out about how much time he committed to the role — I read that he watched Freddy Mercury’s Live Aid performance more than 1,500 times… and it shows!
