A week ago today, Baby Ernie (previously known as Baby Beep) was born! At 9:37 pm on April 29th, my husband, Jacob, and I welcomed him into the world weighing 6 pounds, 2 ounces and measuring 19.75 inches long. It’s been a whirlwind of a week already and I’m delighted to report that both he and I are happy, healthy, and taking lots of naps!

We are taking our time getting to know this little one, and as such, Stella and I have a small blog announcement: we’ll be taking the month off from blogging except for our Friday It’s A Thing series. We’ll for sure be back, but I’m especially grateful for the extra tine to focus on this newest family member!
