  1. I’m a huge fan of using the chocolate chip cookie recipe that comes on the back of the package. What can I say – the chocolate chip experts do cookies right! My favorite trick to kick them up a notch is to add big salt flakes to the top prior to baking.img_8466
  2. I have a big white wall in my apartment that has been begging for our decorating attention for years. I love these large thin gold frames and they are super affordable compared to what I am finding elsewhere. I’m considering a wall filled with black and white trip/wedding photos or maybe some of these fun etsy prints: (pineapple), (tulips), (moon).
  3. Just finished the book, ‘When Life Gives You Lululemons‘ by Lauren Weisberger. I listened to the audio book and loved how the reader captured the many characters with her voices. It’s a fun summer read that follows a Scandal type plot with the tone of Devil Wear’s Prada.
  4. I’ve been pinning to our Are We Adults yet account quite a bit this week and my favorite board has been “Happy Hour” – so many beautiful cocktails to try!

  1. 2018-08-10 09.52.41I gave blood this morning and have been on a pretty good cadence of donating every 8 weeks for the last ~year. I go to Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles, but here’s a friendly PSA to look up your nearest drive or donor center to start giving!
  2. Ali on the Run’s podcast did a “What’s New With You” week recently and caught up with a bunch of previous guests. LOVED hearing back from some of my favs!
  3. Love this concept for a modular and minimalist kitchen. I lived in a studio apartment for a while and got very used to only using compact kitchen gadgets and seeking out recipes that did not require a lot of counter space for prep, etc.
  4. I finished ‘Watership Down‘ this past week while traveling and honestly can’t wait to read it again. I reread very few books so it has to truly resonate and stick with me to feel that way. Can’t recommend it enough!
