  1. Loved seeing how this person filled their front flower bed with so many succulents. Such a beautiful way to fill a front yard!img_1294
  2. I’ve been shipping lot’s of eBay and Poshmark sales this week. Very grateful that Laura told me you can order shipping boxes for free from the post office! Most of the items that I sell go out via USPS priority mail and those boxes are free to order, just be careful not to order the “flat rate kind” – unless you are paying for that type of shipping of course!
  3. I always struggle with peeling hard-boiled eggs, but I love making them. This morning, I tried a new hack – adding baking soda and it worked! Very excited to pocket this trick for future egg boiling.
  4. I am VERY picky about water. It probably sounds crazy to some of you but for those of you out there that also have sensitive taste buds, I bet you know what I mean – not all water is created the same! I greatly enjoyed OMAAT’s article about how to get free bottled water at hotels.

  1. I turned 30 this week! I’ve been nutty busy at work for the last couple of months and coupled with my endless to-do list to get ready for Baby Beep on the way, it definitely doesn’t feel as “milestone-y” as it probably should? TBD if this year feels any different now that I’m into a new decade!

    Swaddle and diaper practice!
  2. I sent this “Men’s Guide to Emotional Labor” to a few different guys in my life this week. I’ve been surprised at how many men have either never heard of this as a concept or can’t even fully wrap their head around it. I also have this Harper’s Bazaar article permanently bookmarked to re-read when I need to remind myself I’m not crazy, these things are real.
  3. Anyone else notice that Google+ finally closed up shop this week? Gave me an excuse to wander down the good ‘ol memory lane of “products killed by Google.” Hard RIP for Reader, still my favorite product they’ve every created.
  4. I’ve found myself pulling up our creative ways to use lemons post recently (published exactly a year ago, this week!) as a reminder of all the great natural disinfecting and smell-reducing ways to use them around the house. My neighbor’s lemon tree is out of control at the moment so I need more ways than just baked goods to help use them all!

Let us know what you think!
